Equine Bowen Therapy is based on the same principles as Human Bowen Therapy.  It supports and promotes healing, pain relief and works to reset and balance the whole body.

Equine Bowen Bodywork should be considered for:

Bowen is a soft tissue remedial therapy where the practitioner uses fingers and thumbs on precise points on the body over muscles, ligaments and tendons.

During treatment there are 1 minute 'waits' when the horse is left to rest.  There is no manipulation or adjustment of hard tissue.

Treatments take  approximately 45 mins.  Cost of treatment may vary depending on distance needed to travel - please enquire for further information.

 

Usually two or three treatments approximately 1 week apart may be required to correct the presenting problem.
